At the Ristorante Miramare, with it’s open patios, you will have the pleasure of trying the wonders of seaside Tuscan cuisine.
Our kitchen philosophy is based on produce straight from the sea on our coast with a heightened respect for seasonal fish, in aline with the daily market and the time of year, above all we have a respect for local catches: fish, shellfish, mussels and other seafood, from fish to seaweeds and urchins, all picked with care and attention.
Our menu also offers meat dishes to satisfy our meat-loving clients as well as game, which completes the menu.
The bread and the desserts are all homemade with locally sourced, fresh, organic ingredients.
The chef prepares the food using techniques which may be seen as a little avant-garde to enhance the flavours and give character to products, without taking away any of the nutritious value.
Our Wine Cellar
Right on the beach, Ristorante Miramare gives a well studied wine list to introduce them to our gastronomic project, keeping the Tuscan land around us in mind, and with careful research of Italian and international vines, we offer wines with interest, and character to match your food.
In a warm and comfortable environment, you can enjoy the best Bolgheri wines, such as:
Ornellaia: The main characteristic of Orgnellaia 2006 is without doubt its vivaciousness. Fortified wine, strong and intense. Immediately noticeable. Rich in scent, tannin, with a good acidity, and with all the components perfectly balanced amongst themselves. The end result of which is refined greatness.
Sassicaia: The wine starts with a grape which is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. Average return per hectare: 45-50 cubic litres of grape yields 30-35 of wine. Pruned vines. 3,500 vines per hectare for interior vines until 1980 and from 4500 to 5000 vines / ha. for the rest.
